Aam ki kheer – Maimoona Yasmeen Recipes – Hyderabadwala

Milk (full fat) : 1 litre

Rice : ½ cup

Sugar : 160 grams

Khoya : 100 grams

Mango(mashed) : 1

Mangoes (diced): 2

Cardamom powder : ½ teaspoon

Almonds (diced) : handful

Pistachios (diced) : handful




  1. Bring milk to boil while stirring. Add grinded paste of rice soaked in water for about an hour.
  2. Cook for 5 minutes and add sugar. Stir well and add 100 grams of khoya.
  3. Cook for 10 minutes till sugar gets completely dissolved in the milk.
  4. Add cardamom powder and custard powder soaked in cold milk. Add this custard to boiled milk while stirring. Stir for 5 minutes. Add paste of one mango. Blend with a blender.
  5. Garnish with 2 diced mangoes, almonds and pistachios.


Aam ki kheer is ready.
