Fried Kaleji or Fried Lamb Liver – Maimoona Yasmeen Recipes – Hyderabadwala

Ingredients:

Lamb Liver (Bakre ki kaleji): 250 grams
Ginger Garlic Paste: 2 tablespoons
Red Chili Powder: 1 teaspoon
Salt: 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder: ½ teaspoon
Spices or Garam masala powder: ½ teaspoon
Black pepper powder: ½ teaspoon
Chopped mint leaves: handful
Chopped coriander: handful
Cooking oil: 3 tablespoons

Procedure:

1.    In a cooking saucepan,  add medium sized pieces of lamb liver, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder, spices, black pepper powder, chopped mint leaves, chopped coriander and one and a half cup water. Mix well and close the lid.

2.     Cook on medium flame for about 2 minutes and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. If you are using a pressure cooker, pressure cook for 3 to 4 whistles.

3.     Add oil and semi fry till the water gets dry and the oil separates.

Fried Kaleji or Fried Lamb Liver is ready.
