Kali Mirchi Ka Gosht or Mutton Black Pepper Curry – Maimoona Yasmeen Recipes – Hyderabadwala

Ingredients:

Mutton (boneless): 250 grams
Onions: 6
Ginger garlic paste: 1 tablespoon
Salt: 1 teaspoon
Red Chilli powder: 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder: ½ teaspoon
Chopped mint leaves: a handful
Chopped coriander: a handful
Cooking oil: 2 tablespoons
Black pepper powder: ½ teaspoon
Spices (Garam masala powder): ½ teaspoon

Procedure:

1.    In a cooking pan, add sliced onions, medium sized pieces of mutton, ginger garlic paste, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, chopped mint leaves, chopped coriander, one tea cup of water, mix well and close the lid.

2.    Cook on low flame till the mutton gets tender.

3.    While the mutton gravy is still watery, add cooking oil, black pepper powder, spices or garam masala powder and sauté till the oil separates (sauté for about 4 to 5 minutes).
Kali Mirchi Ka Gosht or Mutton Black Pepper Curry is ready.
