Tamatar Ghosht – Tomato Mutton Curry – Maimoona Yasmeen Recipes – Hyderabadwala

Ingredients:

 

Tomatoes : ½ Kg
Boneless Mutton : 150 Grams
Onions (medium size) : 2
Ginger Garlic Paste : 1 Tablespoon
Turmeric Powder : ½ Teaspoon
Cooking Oil : 2 Tablespoons
Red Chilli Powder : 2 ½ Teaspoons
Salt : 1 ½  Teaspoon
Curry Leaves : Handful
Coriander : ½ Bunch
Whole Green Chillies : 4

Procedure:
1.    In a pressure cooker add chopped onions, mutton, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, oil , red chilli powder and one cup of water.
2.    Close the lid and pressure cook till 2 whistles on medium flame, approximately for 3 to 4 minutes.
3.    Saute till the water dries up.
4.    Add tomatoes and salt and pressure cook till one whistle on low flame approximately for 2 minutes.
5.    Saute till the oil separates.
6.    Add 2 cups of water,  curry leaves,  chopped coriander, whole green chillies and close the lid.
7.    Cook on medium flame for about 2 minutes and simmer for 4 to 5 minutes.

 

Tamatar Ghosht or Tomato Mutton is ready to be served.
